• Yes you will need an adapter unless there is a hot shoe on your camera. Make sure to update the firmware.

• You do need the “Media Mod” to connect your GoPro 8 with this Rode Wireless Go II. The Media Mod runs about $70-$80 on Best Buy. Sweetwater a little cheaper, $48 on GoPros website right now and Amazon has some around $35.
