It's very small. Placing just a cable in there makes it hard to close...gets me worried about adding too much pressure on the screen. I would say that no, it doesn't fit but I haven't tested it myself.

Nope. There us only enough room for the switch and the two flat game cases that come with it.

Would fit with a shell case, but not the big grippy ones. No room to store anything other than the console and some games

No, this case only fits the Switch with Joycons attached. There is also a place to store several game cartridges, but no place to accommodate a stand or grip.
