Yes, you can input the card numbers if it won't swipe.

Yes, but you can’t scan the chip. It only reads the mag stripe.

Most cards today have the chip. As long as it has the strip on the back no problem

It will work with magstripe in offline mode. If you’re using WiFi or cell data, it wants to read the chip, and won’t work with the stripe.
