A:Answer If you really need to, I'm sure they will help! But the battery cartridge is plug and play. After unplugging the APC from the power outlet, you lay the APC on its side.
You will then view a cover with two tabs. Push the cover open, until it clears itself from the APC housing. There are two tabs, on the battery, which you need to pull on until the battery disconnects from the APC. Then reverse the process. Make sure the metal prongs, point to the interior of the machine and give it a good push. Replace the cover, set it on its bottom and plug your unit back in. It will take awhile to charge the battery.
