• The D3200 can be operated with either the Nikon EN-EL14 or the EN-EL14a. For optimum performance using an EN-EL14a your D3200 should be operating on Firmware version C: 1.02 or later. The current firmware version can be found in the D5200 setup menu. For help updating your camera's firmware please contact Nikon Support.
