• The battery lasts hours. The number of photos depends how long the Camera is on and the size of your memory card. I have 3 batteries and in most single day adventures i only use one battery

• Battery is light don't have exact weight. But honestly it depends on the quality of picture your taking and the size of your memory card if you have at 1 gb you can take a ton pictures.
