Please try again later.The drlivery people were to have connectedvthe wayer and hauled the old fridge away, but they didnt do either after extorting $100 out of ne because the in store salesman typed wrong address. Told me he didnt have room for the old fridge yet he had just unliaded a fridge and stove to my house!!!! Sham artist
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We had a similar setup. It was not PEX however, but plastic line running to the basement. The kit that you purchase with the fridge has a steel braided line which the installers ran direct to my basement with a shutoff valve. They did have to drill a larger hole to accommodate the new line (our plastic line was very small)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently bought a new fridge and had the water line replaced. The old line was from 20+ years ago. I examined the old line and was surprised how funky and the build up inside the line. I feel more safe using the water and ice from the fridge.
