Q: QuestionI have 2017 jeep wrangler my viper remote start stopped working and the key fob won't unlock lock or remote start. The transmitter in the car continually blinks blue. The 2 way remote just blinks 5 times I believe.

• A:Answer The starter is universal. It locks the doors, starts the car, unocks the doors and has an alarm. You probably would mot be able to use your own. It comes with a pod.

• A:Answer They usually quote longer install times because some installs need to use wiring that they need to splice into your harnesses, and those installs take much longer, today they have something called a T-Harness and that is usually plug and play but you have to purchase that separately, if you didn’t the installer may have just given it to you making the install time much much shorter and a preserved the integrity of your vehicle.
