How is the unit recharged? Via the 9v input? USB input? null

There are multiple ways to charge it. It has a DC wall adapter that comes with it for the 5mm port, and comes with a USB-C and USB-A cable to charge with as well. Another option to charge it is from solar panels, up to 110watts.

It comes with 120 V charger for a regular house wall socket and you can also charge it using a USBc. You can also charge it using both and it charges faster
