It worked just fine for Google Pixel XL 2. It does not work on some but using it for scrolling, music selection, choosing apps on my phone. Push the @ symbol to switch some functions for games other than that I would be bummed out like you if it did not work just get a refund. Men out their works great for the Gameboy advanced emulator called the myboy from the play store.
