With Best Buy I wouldn't put any faith in receiving this on day of release via shipping. I preordered this game weeks ago for in-store pickup, and guess what... they didnt receive enough inventory to cover my order. Nobody had any answers to when it would be available again and they blamed Sony for only sending a certain amount. Even though when I preordered the game it said "pick up in store on 4/30/21". So I just walked into Target and bought it straight off the shelf. Post COVID Best Buy has been a horrible experience, and if the empty shelves and mass layoffs don't tip you off to how this store is being managed. Best Buy brick and mortar stores have turned into 3rd world war torn countries... bombed out and depleted ... Purchase off Amazon or another vendor if you want a better chance of getting a game on the release date.

Please try again later.I think you're asking two questions: 1. - For a game not released but available for pre-order, you should receive it within a day or two of release, possible same day. 2. - For a game that's been released, and if you live in the same zip code as a store with stock, you should receive same day of you order in the morning.
