Can you save progress without completing a level? null

Progress cannot be saved in the real sense but there is an option to suspend a cycle so that you can shutdown your system

You can suspend the game during a run.

No…you can suspend the cycle. My only complaint about the game is no save option.

It allows one mid cycle save. But you will start from crash site
