How does this work on type 4 hair and a kinky pattern? null

It works pretty good but not great. The videos online I viewed by the company show straighter hair than the results I obtain on my daughter’s 4C hair type. It’s gentle so really good for kids.

I have 4c hair and it works great. It definitely stretches it very well. It does leave your hair very dry so keep some hair oil close by.

Works as advertised on my kids' 4c hair. It was painless for her but its loud and takes some time. The benefit is no pulling so its good for tenderheads.

I use this on 4a/4b combo hair and it works as advertised. No heat directly to the hair and the base of the hair is dry. The curl pattern isn't completely removed which saves the natural look.

I think its amazing on type 4 hair ... most of my girls have type 4 hair including my son .

My fiance has 4b and she loves it. Knocks a good amount of time out of her hair day routine.

I must be an anomaly because I have 4C hair and although it stretch and dry it, my hair feels extremely coarse, almost fried, even after using products. If I use too much product, it feels stiff and coarse, if I use less product, it feels crunchy/dry/coarse. I’m happy for all that have soft hair after, but I never do. Unless something is wrong with mine.

It works ok on type 4 hair but way better on type 3 hair in my opinion it’s not worth it. Will be returning mine soon

Yes it does! I have type 4 curly hair and it gets it stretched and manageable. I love it! Washday is a breeze now
