- Answer Hello! Due to limitations to Wireless CarPlay, there could be some hiccups when two known devices are present in the vehicle when trying to connect. This is due to the fact that both devices will try to connect with the wireless CarPlay. This means that you will need to manually turn off the WIFI on the device that you do not want to use CarPlay. QuestionThe description says your vehicle needs to already have integrated Apple CarPlay. If that is the case then why would a person need this unit? I was under the impression that this would add Apple CarPlay to vehicles that don’t have CarPlay capabilities.

- Answer Doesn’t on my car. (My car has only one USB port that connects to audio… and it’s occupied by the adapter. ) plugging My phone into another USB to charge doesn’t interrupt the wireless CarPlay connection.

- Answer Hello, It will not. The CPW-2 is an adapter to turn Wired CarPlay into Wireless CarPlay. Therefore, a vehicle with android auto would be unable to address this.

- Answer Yes. Connect second phone as the first (while first phone is not connected/not in range). No problem. Small hassle when you want to switch between a connected phone and the other… have to turn off Bluetooth and wifi (in settings) on connected phone, wait until the adapter blue light blinks (indicating it’s ready to pair), then connect other phone via Bluetooth.
