It will work no problem with the Fiesta. The cord is 18ft. I installed it on a truck similar length to yours (93 Ford extended cab long bed) and I needed more cord. I had to buy a 4pin camera extension cord online (maybe bestbuy has one) and went with a 6 1/2ft but a 8ft might have been better. That caused the reverse light wire to be too far from the light housing. I just extended that simple wire. It runs without it but won’t automatically go to reverse view with the “parking guidelines”. Yes it will show reverse all the time. Swiping your finger left and right to swap front and back views. Yes the rear camera is weatherproof. My only complaint with this setup is the screen is too dim in direct full light. I assume if my windows were tinted this it would rock all the time but during midday I use the “screensaver mode” and just use the natural reflection (not the best regular mirror either)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can show full time as well. I installed mine on a 2014 Mustang. I I think you should be ok with the length. And yes it’s water proof. It made to be mounted on the outside of you vehicle. You may want to search for a extension cable just to be safe. You could always return the cable if it’s not need.

The wire is somewhat long but not ling enough for a pick up truck. Rear camera can work full time like the front camera. One feature I like with the product is you can adjust the view of the camera up or down just by swiping the mirror/monitor like how you do on the cellphone. Also include a sd card with your purchase (get a bigger memory like 256gb) so can start recording.
