• Hi! Yes, go into the settings and turn Screen Sleep ON. The screen will turn off so you can use it as a mirror, but the device will continue to record.

• Yes it is. You can simple tap the power button, do not hold it, or go into the setting, and there’s an option for time out. This allows the camera to dim itself automatically.

• Yes, there is button to turn off the screen. its just not as clear as a regular mirror. the field of view on the back up camera is great even for blind spots
