“Does this come with the wiring to be hard wired or does it have to plug in to a car charger plug? I bought one in the past and it didn’t have an option to be hard wired.”

No it does not you need to buy the intelligent hardwire kit for 30$ more, which is worth it in my eyes seeing as that has the motion sensor for parking mode included with the kit.

However, in the box there will be included a cigarette socket charger which you can use to provide power to your dashcam.
