“Can you mount the back camera inside your vehicle and plug it into the mirror, is that just it, or does the back camera need to be connect to something else. I just want to record the traffic behind in case of an accident, don't need it for parking.”

HI! Thank you for your message! You do not need to install the red wire to use it for reversing. You can simply mount it anywhere you would like inside or outside of the vehicle and just have it record while you drive.
