The answer is "maybe." The Rexing does not have Homelink built into it however when I installed the unit the three garage buttons and the power light on my rear view mirror were still accessible. So I didn't loose anything except my compass. But this has GPS, so I really lost nothing at all. My car is a Hyundai.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My vehicle has buttons to open and close the garage doors on the bottom of its rearview mirror. (I have the Homelink system). When this Rexing Mirror is attached to the rear-view mirror there is still a small gap between the two mirrors where you can access the garage door buttons. I am not able to actually see the Homelink buttons from the driver's seat but I can feel them. So, I stuck a small felt cushion over the garage door button on the vehicle mirror so I could find it easily by feeling for it. See the red-circled button in my photo.
