Hello! As long as you are able to press these buttons with the dashcam, they should work. There should be no interferences coming from the dashcam that would disable these buttons from working. The main concern would be if the buttons are being blocked by the dashcam.

You will not be able to see your existing mirror after install. You can see the two rubber straps used to hold it on in the product images. So you will not be able to see your existing mirror's compass. Garage door opener buttons may be blocked or not depending on their location relative to the rubber mounting straps.
