• It does come with a cigarette lighter power adapter. Although it is highly advised that it is unplugged before leaving the vehicle to avoid any battery drain issues.

• Yes you can choose it to be hard wired or to use the lighter plug. They hide the wiring. I dont know the answer to your second question.
