“My car has a RVM with capability of opening 3 garage doors, replacing my mirror would eliminate that capability. This looks to be feature packed, but I am not sure I can give up my garage door functions for the camera features. Any plans of adding?”

You don't actually replace the stock mirror. You just put this mirror over it with some stretchy straps (very stable).
