• Hello! There are 2 hardwire kit, there's the smart and the intelligent. Both hardwire kits allow for the the collision detection but only the intelligent has the motion sensing capabilities. Please note that the prices depend on from where you purchased it from and if there are any sales. I would encourage you to check Best Buy and our website for the latest prices. However, a typical smart hardwire kit goes for $15 and the intelligent for $39.

• Intelligent hardwire kit ASIN BO973MBCT8, sold separately as shown on page 14 of the instruction manual. I put that info into best buy app and just ordered mine. $39.99
