Hello! There are 2 hardwire kit, there's the smart and the intelligent. Both hardwire kits allow for the the collision detection but only the intelligent has the motion sensing capabilities. Please note that the prices depend on from where you purchased it from and if there are any sales. I would encourage you to check Best Buy and our website for the latest prices. However, a typical smart hardwire kit goes for $15 and the intelligent for $39.
