“I hope you can help me, as I'm trying to find out, how to do a factory reset as I can't see anything in the settings menu? I've tried using a pin, in the pin hole rest and held it down for 10 seconds but had no luck with that.”

Hello! You can do a factory reset by using a pin and pressing the pin hole button. As you have tried this and it has not made a difference, chances are your issue is something else entirely.
