Camera does not record 24/7 when hardwired but it records for people who have movement. I had the rearview mirror dash cam and picked up anything that approached my car. You do not want it to be recording 24/7 as your flash card gets filled up quickly

I used an extended accessory cable that reaches the front of my vehicle. I ran the cord under the carpet. Works perfect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I contacted Rexing about Parking Monitor with the GPS receiver. Only they sell that wiring harness, which gives you Parking Monitor AND GPS data. The one BB sells ($30) does not have the GPS receiver. I paid $40 for the necessary harness and wired it to the fuse box with the supplied pigtails. Easy, easy, easy!!
