Hello! Yes. As the resolution and framerate would be sufficient in order to pickup license. However, please note that there are a lot of factors that dictate whether or not this would be possible such as visibility, speed and time of the day.

I was unable to read the license plate of someone who was tailgating me after they had passed in front of the main camera. Granted, it was nighttime and the guy passed on a dark rural road going at least 70mph over a double solid and still hadn’t gotten out of his car by the time I saw him again at work, but the resolution is terrible despite claims of being “4K.” In my experience, even if I had the rear camera hooked up and was able to record him tailgating me from only a few feet away, headlights often overpower the camera and you can’t see squat that way either. Your mileage may vary.
