• I had mine installed on a 15 passenger van and the included cable wasn’t log enough. I had to purchase a 6 foot 3.5 mm extension cable for $15. At first I was concerned that adding the extension cable would distort the video quality, but it doesn’t seem to be a problem.

• I have a truck with no camper shell and stick it to the tear window. But to answer your question will it reach the rear, yes it will. I have a lot of extra wire I have to tuck away. There was a video on youtube where a guy mounted it under the license plate. My concern after that is can it stand the environments.
