It comes with a 32GB Kingston memory card, which will record up to four hours at full HD settings. It will accept up to 256GB, you are best to get a UHD memory card with fast transfer speed. As for the rear camera, it is in color. It is not excellent quality but it does the job.

You don't need to purchase a 128 card. Just use the card that comes with the unit. It has loop recording. You will get a hours of driving on the 32 gig card.

yes i had it hard wired and upgraded the disk to gb 128

128 is bst u can use in space storage and i got same dash rear camera and mine has color during the day and at night its goin to be black and white anyway no matter the camera
