• Yes the power source is throw the Cigarette lighter..Once you plug it in the camera will turn on.. I'm not sure if the camera charges and the you can use it off the charge,,Be nice if it did that so that way I could still use my GPS..I will probably end up have to go get a dual cigarette adaptor for that

• On the main body of the camera, there are two inputs, one is for power, the other is for the rear camera. The main camera records the front view, and you can set the camera to record both front and back view.
