“Can you manually stop an over-ride recording if you see something happen in front (or behind) you that doesn't impact you personally but you may want to save and give to someone else for their use? i.e. witness an accident”

Hi there! You can automatically lock the current video by simply pressing the lock button on the camera if you want to save that footage and ensure it doesn’t get overwritten. Also if you use a bigger size memory you shouldn’t have to worry about locking videos all the time as more space, will get you more recording time before the memory card gets full :)

It is very difficult to read due to a lack of contrast. Also, be very careful not to press the “UP” button (immediately left of “OK”) as this will TURN OFF RECORDING.
