• No you do not have to manually turn it on every time once it is hard wired. One wire of the kit goes to an always hot fuse and the other wire goes to a fuse that becomes hot when you turn the vehicle on. When you start your vehicle, it will power on and start recording right away.

• Hello! You do not, the system will automatically receive power to turn on and it will power the dashcam. Once you see the red blinking LED/circle you should be good to go!

• When plugged into the accessories socket it’ automatically comes on and will start filming one the vehicle is started.
