Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Dash Cam came with 32GB MicroSD Card in the box (along with a MicroSD to SD adapter). Since I wanted the ability to store a larger archive of footage on my regular road trips, I purchased a 256GB SanDisk Extreme Plus (rated at U3, A2, V30). It has been working great since December 2022. I formatted it through the settings menu on the Rexing Dash Cam, which created a single 255.8 GB ExFat partition (utilizing the MBR partition map), containing one folder called "Novatek". There are two folders under the "Novatek"folder : - "Movie" - which stores regular recordings; and - "EMR" - which seems to store clips locked manually (and possibly through relevance as determined by the G-force sensor). A little info regarding SD card ratings: - U3 : The UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) rating indicates a performance option for real-time video recording with UHS-enabled host devices. - V30 : The Video Speed Class 30 (V30) rating means the card can sustain at least 30 MB/s continuous video recording. - A2 : The Application Performance Class (A2) rating indicates fast application performance for an exceptional smartphone experience. A2 performance is 4000 read IOPS, 2000 write IOPS. (Results may vary based on host device, app type and other factors). It's recommended that you buy an SD card rated V30 (and U3) for consistent and reliable video recording at 4K (especially if you have the rear camera up and running).
