• The WIFI is only intended to pass video files from the unit to a cell phone, so I don't expect it would be very much. The intent is, if you were in an accident, you could transfer the video file to your phone, then use your phone to send the file to insurance or police.

• WIFI for REXING devices are meant to be connected to while in the vehicle with the device.

• The cam has to be powered on to access videos through the mobile app, so you’re likely to only use it while in the car (I.e., when running).

• So far it works when you in the car however I don't think I need to connect to it at any other time
