“What does it take to get this to operate properly. The hard wire kit does not keep the camera on as needed for parking guard. Even to retain settings. The WIFI app is useless also. The main unit would not power up using the included USB to a PC.”

• buying a different brand will get it to work properly. yes the hardwire kit is the only way. and NO it will not work plugged into a pc at all

• I agree, this camera is trash and so is the company. They refused to honor their warranties.

• The camera won’t stay on for parking mode. It shuts off, but “wakes up” and turns on for a 20 second recording when it detects motion.
