Hello Cork, The RIG 800 PRO HX will not work with a Samsung TV with or without Dolby Atmos. The wireless audio for RIG 800 PRO HX comes over a 2.4GHz digital RF wireless adapter included with the headset. This adapter plugs into USB-A on an Xbox console or PC. The USB ports on TVs (including Samsung) are not audio outputs. Therefore, no compatibility. The audio output for TVs currently, primarily consist of digital optical or Bluetooth - neither of which are compatible with RIG 800 PRO HX. The other half of this question was on Dolby Atmos. The Dolby Atmos enabled by the adapter included with RIG 800 PRO HX is Dolby Atmos for headphones. The Dolby Atmos built into a Samsung TV is for TV speakers, soundbars or surround sound speaker systems. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They work with my 3 year old Sony television as well. Just plug the dongle into the USB port and it automatically detects them, and changes from the built in speakers to the headphones.
