So you case use Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound on your Xbox Series X, your Windows 10/11 enabled PC, or any other compatible device. That device just needs to have the free Dolby Access app for access to this feature. The version of Dolby Atmos, where it's limited to a single device, is the code-based version like the 2-Year code included with the RIG 800 Pro HX predecessor - the RIG 800LX. And remember, since it's been a while, that the RIG 800 PRO HX takes a good 4-5 second press of the Power button to power ON.   • QuestionIf you wanted to connect your headset directly to your Xbox without using the USB wireless adapter, is it possible? Just asking as an alternative if the USB goes missing or doesn’t work.

    • Answer Hi Velly, All RIG gaming products from Nacon are covered by a one year manufacturer's warranty against any defects. So you are covered there. If the wireless adapter went missing or otherwise needed to be replaced and it wasn't covered by warranty, then you would need to replace it to continue using the RIG 800 PRO HX. Or there is also the option of Best Buy Geek Squad extended coverage. The headset and wireless adapter operate on a proprietary 2.4GHz lag-free digital RF wireless connection. So you can not connect directly to Xbox or PC without the adapter. Nacon will be making the adapter available as a separate item for purchase. That will be available approximately March/April 2023.   • QuestionI can't get party chat to work with these head phones. I can hear game audio just fine, and my party can hear me but I can't hear them. I can see their mic icon lighting up indicating they are talking but I cant hear anything. Series S

    • Answer Hello Wolvdog316, It sounds like your game/chat balance is not correctly balanced. Please note, both your Xbox console and your RIG 800 PRO HX have game audio/chat audio (speaker audio) balance functions. One the headset, it is the top dial button - turn it up towards the controller symbol and you get more of the game audio. Turn it down towards the person symbol and you get more of the chat audio in your speaker. You may have this dial turned all the way "up" towards the controller symbol which means you are getting all game and no chat. Also, check out your Xbox Series S console settings - make sure you have selected "Headset" for your Party chat output. To find this, go to Settings>Volume & Audio Output>Volume Options> and set Party Chat Output to "Headset". Range can be dependent upon environmental factors such as building materials and other RF interference. With the RIG 800 PRO HX, you have the option of plugging the USB stick-style adapter either directly into your Xbox or PC, or you can plug it into the included multi-function base station which then connects to your host gaming device.   • QuestionCan you use this headset wirelessly with Xbox Series X WHILE having audio from PC (such as Discord) all at same time? If so, how can I do that? I know it doesn't have a 3.5mm jack or bluetooth, so I have a feeling it's not possible to do that...

    • Answer No you can not, eventhough it says it has Bluetooth it does not. Its a great headset but no dual use. Only works with the dongle plugged in to a Xbox or PC..

    • Answer Hello Miketryingtogolf, Generally speaking, the RIG 800 PRO HX should work on a Chromebook as long as your Chromebook's USB-A ports support audio input/output. And generally they do. But there are some Chromebooks that do not support audio via USB-A ports. The switch on the USB-A wireless transmitter included with the RIG 800 PRO HX would need to be set to "PC".     • Answer Hello, The RIG 900 MAX HX replacement wireless transmitter will not work with the RIG 800 PRO HX headset - only with RIG 900 MAX HX headsets. Please contact Nacon Customer Support for replacement RIG 800 series adapters. Due to software variances over the life of the 800 PRO series as well as conversion from micro-USB to USB-C charging ports, there are several different versions available. When the switch is in the controller symbol position, that is only for Xbox. "PC" is for everything else.     • Answer Yes, RIG 800 PRO HX will work with PlayStation 5. SImply put the wireless transmitter switch to "PC" position for use with all compatible devices other than Xbox. Please note, the Game/Chat audio balance function on the headset works only with Xbox consoles.
