Yes, have asked those I've played with and they've had no problems hearing me. Plus the flip to mute is a great feature that I don't think I can go back from now.

There is a fade balancer on the headst that also lets you balance headset chat with game environment sounds, so if someone is hard to hear, you can flip the balance towards chat, than back towards gaming sounds, as needed. I have a lot of noisy friends, that get very animated during game play, so the ability to balance chat against game sounds, on the fly is a nice feature, without having to change the XBox One OS settngs or in-game settings for a temporary issue... such as when everyone in the game fire team is screaming about a great game session... or worse our team gets destroyed by some game boss, that makes us feel like noobs.
