Hi, the dongle connects to your xbox via USB. once you turn your headset on and xbox the dongle transmits the audio, in game sound and voice chat to you headset.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi! You will need to unplug the USB receiver from the gaming console in order to select a different source of audio. This is mainly due to the capacity of the Gaming console to accept other devices when already connected to one via USB. You should be able to select a different device when testing the headset with a PC (under playback/recording devices) without the need of unplugging the USB receiver.
