The person who said slide it off is correct. The person who said it doesn't doesn't know what they're talking about. they become a screws for a reason.

Once you install the mounting plate on the wall, slide the Ring Indoor Cam back onto the mounting plate and adjust the camera angle. Visit our support center for a step-by-step installation guide. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You cannot mount plug-in camera. It sits on table or dresser or whatever. Mine is plug in and sit on Piano in Living room. I also take plug-in on vacation to plug in hotel room when I am away sightseeing or on the Beach. You cannot mount the plugin in picture.
