Hi Robin. Good question. The main difference between the Ring Indoor Cam and the Ring Stick Up Cam is where you can place them and how they receive power. Indoor Cam is an indoor-only camera that plugs into standard power outlets for nonstop power. Stick Up Cam is a versatile camera that goes almost anywhere, indoors or out. Plus, it's weather-resistant and comes in 4 different power options: battery, plug-in, solar, and power over Ethernet. All the best, Nicole from Ring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They have the same features, except no screws and battery; plug-in is the only difference (need electric socket). I use Stickups for outside (Deck, garage, driveway, patio). I take plug-in on vacation to plug in hotel room when I am sightseeing or on the beach.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For starters it doesn´t allow the use of battery for back up. The software won´t allow you 24/7 recording. Lastly, the stickup is indoor/outdoor so it's more versatile. The good thing about indoor camera is due to the small size, it is discreet to the eye and cheaper to cover all areas of your house (inside of course). But if you are looking to increase your cameras and coverage outside, invest on stick-up to have the option to change them inside/outside. Buy the indoors for those places that will be inside for certain.
