“Can this be used inside your car to detect when someone is around your car??? Or if someone tried to jack up your car to steal your tires ( this literally happened to my Honda Accord sport so I’m trying to find some type of motion sensor that will help)”

a CONTACT SENSOR would be used to determine if two surfaces are no longer in close proximity to each other. Specifically, it is used to determine if windows or doors area open/closed. This could not be used to determine if someone is touching your car or if someone is outside of your car within its proximity. Additionally, it can only act to evaluate if the doors and windows are open/closed if these sensors are within the range of the RING base station which is powered by a wall outlet. Therefore at best it would function when parked at your house assuming the contact sensor with within range of the RING base station and it would not function for example when you drive your car to work and it is parked there. I would suggest one use a car alarm or another such alarm system designed specifically for vehicles. I hope this helps.

These sensors will transmit when anything is open. Such as a gun safe, door, drawer. Sounds like you need a good car alarm system. Sorry to hear about your loss. I hope this helps.
