“Can you set any kind of a delay? We need to know if the door is left open for more than say, 30 seconds, not every time someone goes in or out.”

The delay notification can only be configured for the base station; however, you can change the mode settings for the sensors to not send any alerts when at home.

You can toggle on open/closed alerts within the Ring app settings and see real time status if the door is opened or closed within the app dashboard.
