A:AnswerHi Ann,
The PIRs used in Ring Alarm are "pet-friendly." That means they have settings which are calibrated to ignore heat sources from animals that are approximately 30 pounds or less (at medium setting) and 50 pounds or less (at low setting). Please review the following article for more info: https://bit.ly/2Llgq1I. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

A:AnswerI'm not sure about installing outside of USA, but I don't see why not. The only issue would be the monitoring. Professional monitoring might not be available outside the US. You can still use it without monitoring though. It is very easy to install if you have minimal technical ability to connect to APP and internal WiFi Router. The devices themselves are very easy to install using 3M double face tape.
A:AnswerNot too sure if it can be used with another system, personally I can’t see why another system would be needed. Between the video doorbells, security cameras, and the alarm system is really all you need. But before I upgraded I had another similar system and was told by a company that DIDN’T make the system, but said they can offer the monitoring using that system. Again I feel with Ring you can’t beat the monthly cost or yearly cost for monitoring. Nonetheless I hope this information helped.
A:AnswerThis alarm system itself doesn't include any doorbells/cameras. You would have to purchases the doorbells/cameras separately. I'd assume since you're trying to cover 2 doors, the front and back, that you'd need two cameras.
A:AnswerHi Gazza,
At this time, Ring Alarm is only available in the Continental United States (lower 48) and Alaska and Hawaii. Ring is currently working on rolling out the service in other countries and will announce when it is available.

A:AnswerHi TP,
Thanks for your enthusiasm for Ring Alarm. Ring Alarm is currently available for use in the US, excluding American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is not possible to use professional monitoring for Ring Alarm in the excluded territories. Ring wants to create the best experience possible for its neighbors and recommends waiting until professional monitoring is available in your area.
Thanks,

A:AnswerI believe you can add up to 100 devices to the security system base. I’m guessing that includes sensors and motion detectors.. It is meant to run on WiFi. They say they have cellular backup if the WiFi goes down but I don’t know if you can set it up either the cellular backup.
