• Yes you can change the settings for the individual sensors as to whether you want them to sense motion and go off on either armed and away or home and armed.

• there are different modes - Home mode is most often used when you would like the perimeter sensors (doors and windows), but be able to move around your home - and you can choose which ones in that mode
