Yes, the Ring Alarm Security Kit is designed to work with a Ring doorbell to have it record when the alarm is triggered. However, the Ring doorbell cannot trigger the Ring Alarm to when the Ring doorbell detects motion. The Ring Alarm devices like the Ring Contact and Motion Sensors are designed to trigger the Ring Alarm.
