You probably have a bad internet connection. Get a Ring Chime Pro. It is a chime and an extender in one. It will boost your signal . It worked with my Ring Doorbell.

If your Ring device is far away from your router, you can use a wifi extender like the Ring Chime Pro or a mesh router like eero to improve the wifi signal strength.
