Yes, the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus runs on a removable battery and can also be hardwired to an existing standard doorbell system with an 8 to 24 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 5VA to 40VA doorbell transformer. With a compatible chime kit and power supply, the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus will trigger your existing chime when someone presses the doorbell button on your Ring Battery Doorbell Plus.
