QuestionNumerous answers say that Ring car cam should only be used with vehicles with OBD ports to the left of the steering wheel. What is the issue if the OBD port is to the right of the steering wheel?

- Answer There shouldn't be any issue.. as a matter of fact some idiot decided to put the USB port on the camera to the right side.. and most people are complaining about that because as you said the OBD on most cars is on the left.

- Answer Hello, Great question! For safety, the Ring Car Cam should only be plugged into an OBD-II port located on the left side of the steering wheel. You will first want to check the location of your car's OBD-II port and see if Car Cam can be safely installed. In addition, our support center provides a list of cars that are not compatible with Ring Car Cam and cannot be used with the product. - Answer The camera can alert you to motions inside or outside your vehicle, but only within view of the camera, it doesn't scan the whole car, but it does pick up bumps, hits or motion

- Answer The correct answer is, YES, it IS considered illegal in Minnesota. Ring should figure out a way to mount it on the rear view mirror just above or below so they can market these devices or a similar product legally in the state of Minnesota.

- Answer You won't be able to get LTE on it the camera and will only work on wifi at home. You also won't get cloud storage either. Makes it pretty useless without it, honestly. It's only $6 a month.

- Answer Charley thank you for you question; we are having the same issue in our complex. I am looking for a camera as well for the same thing, This world is getting crazy! We need the camera to record all night. @ Nicole from ring, can I ask if the tire is touched, while the app notify me? Also is the camera able to do a visual 360 while parked.
