Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Jeff4u. Good question! The Ring Car Cam remains vigilant while the car is parked or off and can continue to help keep your car secure by working in low-power mode. The Ring Car Cam will "wake up" to record triggered events like motion detection. With a Ring Protect Go subscription, you will receive real-time alerts from the Ring app for detected motion in and around your vehicle and be able to see what triggered an alert with a photo preview right in the notification without opening the Ring app. If any additional information is needed regarding your Ring Car Cam question, please reach out to our community team. The Ring Community is our first peer-to-peer community forum, giving our customers the ability to help one another by sharing their feedback and experiences with each other. All the best, Nicole from Ring.
