• The Ring Chime Pro functions as a Wi-Fi extender as well as a speaker for the Ring alerts. Everything is set up via the Ring App - once it connects to your Wi-Fi network, the Chime Pro creates a separate network for the Ring devices to connect to. Centralization is the key; you have to find the best location between the camera and your router (and any planned future Ring devices) and you should be good to to.
